This "vinyl-iscious" EP contains 4 songs that fuse rock, hip hop, roots music and rhythm and blues (a style Levick playfully calls "vinyl shit") in the tradition of Beck, Fatboy Slim and The Sneaker Pimps.
Above and beyond their newjack beats and sweet production, these are absopositively well crafted and catchy songs with mad swagger!
You'll hear some of Bret's Stones and Bowie influences with an added nod to G. Love and Sublime on "Birthday Cake" which was written with and features geniyical singer/songwriter Frankie Hernandez.
"You Show Yourself", co-authored by Frankie and long time collaborator Robert Navarro also features Frankie's stellar vocal stylings and Robert's help on guitar, bass and clavinet.
